To create what you desire with your thought, you have to have attained a state of mind where you have actually had it happen and felt it happen in your mind.
And in that process, you become detached from it because you have already had it.
Then what happens is you work diligently on making that a reality for everyone else, as it is already a reality in your mind. And keep going until you get there!
This is how we create what we desire it then becomes a reality.
When we truly practise this desired state, we come from a place of gratitude, contentment and a sense of knowing anything we truly desire we can achieve.
